Pennsylvania High School Softball - Purchase Line knocked off by Penns Manor

April 13, 2023: Clymer, PA 15728

In Thursday's league contest, the Penns Manor Comets (Clymer, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA), by a margin of 21-10.

With the triumph, Penns Manor moves its record to 2-7 on the year. The Comets travel to Homer-Center (Homer City, PA) to play the Wildcats in a Heritage contest on Tuesday, April 18. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 5-5. Homer-Center lost 6-2 in their recent non-league contest against Indiana (Indiana, PA)

In their next game, the Red Dragons play the Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 17. Purchase Line will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Golden Tide come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 5-3 league loss to Mount Union (Mount Union, PA).
