TORREY PINES TRAILED SAN MARCOS WITH 1 OUT IN THE BOTTOM OF THE 6TH INNING 4-3 BUT USED THE 9 RUN INNING TO DEFEAT SAN MARCOS FOR THE 2ND TIME THIS SEASON. THE LADY FALCONS BANGED OUT 18 HITS IN THE CONTEST. SOPHOMORE KELLY WHELIHAN LEAD THE WAY GOING 4-5 WITH 3 RUNS SCORED AND AN RBI. FRESHEN RILEY CULLIVAN WENT 3-4, WITH A DOUBLE, 2 SINGLES, 2 RUNS SCORED AND 2 RBI'S WHILE HER SISTER REAGAN CULLIVAN WENT 2-4 WITH 2 RUNS SCORED AND AN RBI WHILE ALSO THROWING 2 PERFECT INNINGS OF RELIEF TO GET THE VICTORY. TORREY PINES IMPROVED TO 13-2 OVERALL AND 1-1 IN THE LEAGUE WHILE SAN MARCOS DROPPED TO 8-4-1 OVERALL AND 0-2 IN LEAGUE PLAY.
