In Thursday's league contest, the Scappoose Indians (Scappoose, OR) softball team held off the visiting Tillamook Cheesemakers (Tillamook, OR), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Scappoose moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Indians host Seaside (Seaside, OR) to play the Seagulls in a 4A Cowapa contest on Friday, April 14. The Seagulls come into the contest with a record of 6-5. Seaside lost 10-0 in their recent league contest against Astoria (Astoria, OR)
In their next game, the Cheesemakers play the Warrenton Warriors (Warrenton, OR) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 19. Tillamook will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record.
