The Stuarts Draft Cougars softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Staunton Storm to 3 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Stuarts Draft moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Mavericks in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 18. The Mavericks come into the game with a record of 7-2. Miller School of Albemarle won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against St. Margaret's (Tappahannock, VA)
In their next game, the Storm clash with the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) in a Shenandoah game, on Tuesday, April 18. Staunton will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record.
