In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Belen Eagles baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Albuquerque Academy Chargers.
The Eagles (13-6) will now prepare for their game against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars go into the 4A District 5 game with a 8-12 record. In their last game, Valencia tipped Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 11-1, in a league game.
The Chargers (11-9) will now prepare for their game against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league game with a 12-6 record. In their last game, Los Alamos tipped Taos (Taos, NM), 12-2, in a league game.
