Maryland High School Baseball - Avalon loses to Landon

In Saturday's non-league game, the host Landon Bears baseball team scored a tight 8-4 victory over the Avalon Black Knights.
The Bears (7-8) will now prepare for their game against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA). The Saints go into the Interstate Athletic game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, St. Stephen's & St. Agnes was overwhelmed by Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD), 4-2, in a non-league game.
The Black Knights (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Crusaders go into the Old Line game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, Riverdale Baptist tipped Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD), 13-0, in a league game.
