Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN) and the visiting Marshall Hilltoppers (Duluth, MN), saw Bemidji's baseball squad knock off Marshall by a count of 8-6.
Coming up next, the Lumberjacks play the Andover Huskies (Andover, MN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 19. Bemidji will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
The Hilltoppers now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Denfeld for a Lake Superior battle on Tuesday, April 16. Marshall will play a Hunters squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Cloquet (Cloquet, MN). The Hunters record now stands at 2-3.
