The Byron Tigers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Tigers (12-2) will now prepare for their match against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL). The Vikings go into the Big Northern match with a 12-5 record. In their last match, North Boone was overwhelmed by Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL), 11-10, in a league match.

The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their match against East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL). The Warriors go into the Northwest Upstate Illini - West match with a 9-5 record.
