In Saturday's league game, the visiting Rock Island Rocks baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.
The Rocks (10-4) will now prepare for their game against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons go into the Western Big Six game with a 9-6 record.
The Maple Leafs (5-10) will now prepare for their game against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Rockets go into the non-league game with a 4-10 record. In their last game, Rockridge tipped Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL), 20-3, in a non-league game.
