The Utica Chieftains baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Groves Falcons to 9 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Saturday.
The Chieftains (4-4) will now prepare for their match against St. Clair (St. Clair, MI). The Saints go into the Macomb Area - White match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, St. Clair was edged by West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI), 7-5, in a non-league match.
The Falcons (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI). The Maples go into the Oakland - White match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Seaholm tipped Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI), 10-0, in a non-league match.
