The Sherrard Tigers baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Hall Red Devils to 8 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL). The Panthers go into the Three Rivers match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Erie-Prophetstown was overwhelmed by Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL), 10-1, in a non-league match.
The Red Devils (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Comets go into the Three Rivers match with a 9-3 record. In their last match, Newman Central Catholic gained a win over Dixon (Dixon, IL), 7-3, in a non-league match.
