The McLeod Longhorns baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Ore City Rebels to 5 in the Longhorns league victory on Saturday.

The Rebels (16-4) will now prepare for their match against Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Rebels go into the 2A Region III District 17 match with a 9-8 record. In their last match, Rivercrest edged Avery (Avery, TX), 13-0, in a non-league match.
