The Page Pirates baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Parkland Mustangs to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.

The Pirates (10-8) will now prepare for their match against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies go into the Metro 4A match with a 8-9 record. In their last match, Grimsley was overwhelmed by Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC), 7-1, in a league match.

The Mustangs (2-12) will now prepare for their match against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Demons go into the Central Piedmont 4A match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, R.J. Reynolds was overwhelmed by Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC), 9-6, in a league match.
