Colorado High School Baseball - Pueblo County nips Pueblo South

The Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO) baseball nipped the host Pueblo South Colts (Pueblo, CO), 4-3 in Saturday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Hornets encounter the Pueblo Central Wildcats (Pueblo, CO) in a 4A/5A South Central contest, on Tuesday, April 16. Pueblo County will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 14-10 league loss to Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO).

The Colts now sport a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pueblo East for a 4A/5A South Central contest on Tuesday, April 16. Pueblo South will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 9-4.
