In Saturday's non-league test, the Stevenson Spartans (Livonia, MI) baseball squad edged the host Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI), by a final score of 5-4.
With the win, Stevenson upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Spartans host Churchill (Livonia, MI) to battle the Chargers in a Kensington Lakes - East test on Monday, April 15. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 8-1. Churchill lost 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Milford (Highland, MI)
With the defeat, Walled Lake Northern falls to 2-5 on the season. The Knights travel to South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI) to battle the Cougars in a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, April 16. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-2.
