In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the The Meadows School Mustangs.

The Knights (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Founders Classical Academy (Las Vegas, NV). The Centurions come into the 3A - Desert battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Founders Classical Academy lost by Moapa Valley (Overton, NV), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Falcons (Henderson, NV) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 16. The Meadows School will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 11-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV).
