Galesburg Christian Lions (Galesburg, IL) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Tri-State Christian Huskies (Dubuque, IA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Quad Cities Christian Eagles (Moline, IL) in a Northern Illinois Christian challenge, on Monday, April 15. Galesburg Christian will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 7-0 league loss to Faith Christian (Dixon, IL).

The Huskies now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Faith Christian for a challenge on Thursday, April 18.
