The J.P. Stevens Hawks lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the visiting Nottingham Northstars to 12 in the Hawks non-league win on Saturday.
The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Sayreville (Parlin, NJ). The Bombers go into the Greater Middlesex game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Sayreville was nudged by Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ), 17-3, in a league game.
The Northstars (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Ewing (Trenton, NJ). The Blue Devils go into the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Ewing was nudged by West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ), 18-0, in a non-league game.
