Jonathan Alder Pioneers (Plain City, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs (Carroll, OH), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Pioneers now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tecumseh for a Central Buckeye - Mad River challenge on Monday, April 15.

The Aces enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Amanda-Clearcreek lost 18-1 in their recent league challenge against Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH)
