East Thunderbirds (Cheyenne, WY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Campbell County Camels (Gillette, WY), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Thunderbirds now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they host South for a 4A East challenge on Tuesday, April 16. East will battle a Bison squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Wheatland (Wheatland, WY). The Bison record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Campbell County falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Camels travel to Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD) to battle the Scoopers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Scoopers enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Sturgis Brown lost 13-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD)
