The Perry Pirates softball team scored 27 runs and limited the visiting Conneaut Spartans to 4 in the Pirates league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Perry improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Pirates travel to Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league game on Monday, April 15. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 3-0. Gilmour Academy won 13-2 in their recent non-league game against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Lake game, on Monday, April 15. Conneaut will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Dragons come into the game with a 0-4 record after their 14-0 league loss to Madison (Madison, OH).
