Farmington Tigers (Farmington, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apple Valley for a South Suburban Conference challenge on Wednesday, April 17. Farmington will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Eastview falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to Chaska (Chaska, MN) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Chaska won 14-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN)
