Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Matadors now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eldorado for a 5A District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 13. Sandia will battle a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 14-1 league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Eldorado falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Matadors in a 5A District 2 challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Matadors enter the challenge with a record of 11-5. Sandia won 13-12 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM)
