Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 17-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northlake Christian for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Pope John Paul II will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Cabrini (New Orleans, LA). The Wolverines record now stands at 14-8.

With the loss, Episcopal falls to 6-13 on the campaign.
