Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH), 15-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Scotties now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host River View for a Muskingum Valley challenge on Monday, April 15.

With the loss, Johnstown-Monroe falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Johnnies travel to Newark Catholic (Newark, OH) to battle the Green Wave in a Licking County challenge on Monday, April 15. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Newark Catholic won 7-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH)
