Marsh Valley Eagles (Arimo, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kimberly Bulldogs (Kimberly, ID), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Malad for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. Marsh Valley will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Wendell (Wendell, ID). The Dragons record now stands at 10-0.

With the loss, Kimberly falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Filer (Filer, ID) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A Sawtooth Central Idaho challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Filer lost 12-11 in their recent league challenge against Buhl (Buhl, ID)
