Rittman Indians (Rittman, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Medina Christian Academy Knights (Medina, OH), 24-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Waynedale for a Wayne County challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Rittman will battle a Golden Bears squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to Chippewa (Doylestown, OH). The Golden Bears record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Medina Christian Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Andrews Osborne Academy (Willoughby, OH) to battle the Phoenix in a challenge on Monday, April 15. The Phoenix enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Andrews Osborne Academy lost 15-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Rhodes (Cleveland, OH)
