The Seymour Indians softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Mendon Unity Mustangs to 1 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Seymour improves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Indians travel to Quincy (Quincy, IL) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Monday, April 15. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 4-4. Quincy won 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL)

The Mustangs (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Triopia (Concord, IL). The Trojans come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Triopia was routed by Calhoun (Hardin, IL), 10-0, in a non-league test.
