The Cougars now sport a 16-7 record. They play next when they host West Lauderdale for a 4A Region 4 match on Saturday, April 13. Newton County will meet a Knights squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Knights record now stands at 21-2.

With the loss, Northeast Lauderdale moves to 11-11 on the season. The Trojans travel to Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS) to meet the War Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, April 15. The War Eagles go into the match with a record of 13-10. Wayne County lost 13-6 in their recent league match against East Central (Moss Point, MS)
