Opp Bobcats (Opp, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Zion Chapel Rebels (Jack, AL), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 26-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kinston for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. Opp will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Zion Chapel falls to 22-3 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Highland Home (Highland Home, AL) to battle the Flying Squadron in a 2A Area 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Flying Squadron enter the challenge with a record of 0-11. Highland Home lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Luverne (Luverne, AL)
