The Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) softball routed the host Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD), 25-10 in Saturday's league bout.

The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Quince Orchard was routed by Northwest (Germantown, MD), 13-3, in a league bout.
