St. Maries Lumberjacks (St. Maries, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Priest River Spartans (Priest River, ID), 27-2 in a league challenge.

The Lumberjacks now own a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they host Kellogg for a 2A Central Idaho challenge on Tuesday, April 16.

With the loss, Priest River falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Kellogg (Kellogg, ID) to battle the Wildcats in a 2A Central Idaho challenge on Monday, April 15.
