The Barnesville Shamrocks baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Cambridge Bobcats to 5 in the Shamrocks non-league win on Monday.

The Shamrocks now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martins Ferry for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 15. Barnesville will play a Purple Riders team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Union Local (Belmont, OH). The Purple Riders record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Cambridge drops to 5-4 on the year. The Bobcats host Claymont (Uhrichsville, OH) to play the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 14. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 4-5. Claymont lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH)
