Kansas High School Baseball - Onaga edges Valley Heights

April 13, 2026: Onaga, KS 66521

The Onaga Buffaloes baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Valley Heights Mustangs to 3 in the Buffaloes league win on Monday.

The Buffaloes now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frankfort for a Twin Valley test on Thursday, April 16. Onaga will play a Wildcats team coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Doniphan West (Highland, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-2.

With the defeat, Valley Heights drops to 2-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Jefferson County North (Winchester, KS) to play the Chargers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 16. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 2-7. Jefferson County North lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS)
