The Highland Hornets edged the visiting Copley Indians softball squad by a count of 10-9 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Valley Forge Patriots (Parma Heights, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 15. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 15-4 league loss to Lakewood (Lakewood, OH).

The Indians (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Aurora (Aurora, OH). The Greenmen enter the Suburban - American challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Aurora edged Revere (Richfield, OH), 10-0, in a league challenge.
