Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Windom Eagles (Windom, MN), 5-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Fairmont upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Worthington (Worthington, MN) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 14.
