Michigan High School Softball - Riverview edges Huron

In Monday's league match, the host Riverview Pirates softball team scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Huron Chiefs.

The Pirates (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 5-1 record.

In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Mercy Marlins (Farmington Hills, MI) in a non-league match, on Thursday, April 16. Huron will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Marlins go into the match with a 2-0 record after their 12-7 league win over Divine Child (Dearborn, MI).
