The Alleghany Mountaineers baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Floyd County Buffaloes to 6 in the Mountaineers league victory on Thursday.

The Mountaineers (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets go into the non-league match with a 7-3 record.

The Buffaloes (3-8) will now prepare for their match against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record.
