Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Westbrook Christian Warriors (Rainbow City, AL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Fort Payne upgrades its record to 7-19 on the season.
With the defeat, Westbrook Christian falls to 12-12 on the season. The Warriors travel to Southside (Gadsden, AL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 16.
