The Ysleta Indians baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Horizon Scorpions to 1 in the Indians league victory on Thursday.
The Indians (18-5) will now prepare for their match against El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs go into the 5A Region I District 2 match with a 16-11 record. In their last match, El Dorado was overwhelmed by Hanks (El Paso, TX), 5-4, in a league match.
The Scorpions (11-12) will now prepare for their match against Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores go into the 5A Region I District 2 match with a 20-4 record. In their last match, Del Valle edged Bel Air (El Paso, TX), 6-3, in a league match.
