The Smithson Valley Rangers baseball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Judson Rockets to 2 in the Rangers league victory on Thursday.

The Rangers (18-3) will now prepare for their match against East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Hornets go into the 6A Region IV District 27 match with a 13-8 record. In their last match, East Central was overwhelmed by New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX), 10-2, in a league match.

The Rockets (4-11) will now prepare for their match against Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Knights go into the 6A Region IV District 27 match with a 15-5 record. In their last match, Steele gained a win over South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX), 6-1, in a league match.
