The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Merced Bears (Merced, CA) and the visiting Patterson Tigers (Patterson, CA), saw Merced's volleyball squad beat Patterson by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Merced upgrades its record to 16-5 on the year. The Bears travel to Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA) to play the Thunder in a bout on Tuesday, April 26. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Buhach Colony lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Patterson (Patterson, CA)
The Tigers now own a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to El Capitan for a bout on Thursday, April 28. Patterson will play a Gauchos squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Central Valley (Ceres, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 5-4.
