The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles (Inglewood, CA) and the host Compton Early College Rising Phoenix (Compton, CA), saw Animo Leadership's volleyball squad beat Compton Early College by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Animo Leadership upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Aztec Eagles travel to Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA) to play the Wolves in a Mulholland bout on Tuesday, April 19. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 23-6. Wiseburn- Da Vinci won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Paramount (Paramount, CA)

The Rising Phoenix now own a 2-9 record.
