The Youngker Roughriders held off the visiting BASIS Phoenix volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Roughriders now have a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Estrella Foothills for a 4A Southwest test on Tuesday, April 19.
The (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans enter the 4A Southwest test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Thunderbird was nudged by Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league test.
