The Hickory Red Tornadoes lacrosse team scored 13 points and limited the visiting South Iredell Vikings to 8 in the Red Tornadoes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Red Tornadoes (6-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians enter the NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills game with a 9-2 record.

The Vikings (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Huskies enter the Greater Metro/Queen City/Catawba Shores/S Piedmont game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Hough was overwhelmed by Christ the King (Huntersville, NC), 15-14, in a non-league game.
