The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL) and the visiting Bessemer City Tigers (Bessemer, AL), saw Paul W. Bryant's soccer squad beat Bessemer City by a count of 5-1.
The Stampede now hold a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Northridge for a 6A Area 7 test on Friday, April 15. Paul W. Bryant will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-3.
With the loss, Bessemer City drops to 5-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to McAdory (McCalla, AL) to meet the Yellowjackets in a 6A Area 8 test on Tuesday, April 19. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 7-7.
