The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Lamar Savages (Lamar, CO) and the visiting Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO), saw Lamar's soccer squad knock off Rye by a count of 4-1.

The Savages now hold a 8-0 record. They play next when they host The Vanguard School for a 2A Tri Peaks test on Saturday, April 16. Lamar will meet a Coursers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Colorado Springs School (Colorado Springs, CO). The Coursers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Rye drops to 3-4 on the season. The Thunderbolts travel to Fountain Valley (Colorado Springs, CO) to meet the Danes in a 2A Black Forest test on Saturday, April 16. The Danes come into the test with a record of 4-2. Fountain Valley won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO)
