The San Gabriel Matadors softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Alhambra Moors to 7 in the Matadors league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, San Gabriel improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Matadors host Schurr (Montebello, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a game on Monday, April 25. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 3-1.

In their next game, the Moors clash with the South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 20. Alhambra will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 10-3 record after their 3-1 league win over La Canada (La Canada, CA).
