Calera Eagles (Calera, AL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Chilton County Tigers (Clanton, AL), 5-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 18. Calera will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-15 record after their 3-2 league loss to Montevallo (Montevallo, AL).

The Tigers now have a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Shelby County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19.
