Virginia High School Soccer - Byrd held off by Cave Spring

The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), saw Cave Spring's soccer squad get by Byrd by a count of 1-0.
The Knights now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hidden Valley for a River Ridge test on Tuesday, April 19. Cave Spring will meet a Titans squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Titans record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Byrd drops to 3-5 on the season. The Terriers host Staunton River (Moneta, VA) to meet the Golden Eagles in a Blue Ridge test on Tuesday, April 19. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-7. Staunton River lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA)
